Hede Business Group (HBG) is a leading business house from the State of Goa. The group was established in 1955 during the period of Portuguese rule. The group started out as a mining concern excavating producing and exporting iron ore from iron ore mines granted to it by the erstwhile Portuguese government and continuing to operate the same. The group over the years has diversified into Hotels & Resorts, Travel Services and Property Holdings.

The core activity of the HBG involves the extraction and export of iron ore, the Group has iron mining concession in Goa, which it has held from erstwhile Portuguese Colonial days.

The Travel business of HBG is owned by Hede Consultancy Co. Pvt. Ltd. and is operated under the brand of Travel Force – an IATA accredited travel Service Company.

HBG decided to diversify into the hospitality in the late 1990’s to develop and own hotels and Resorts in association with leading hotel management chains.

The Company planning to expand its Hotels & Resorts business owing to the resounding success of its first project at Goa.
